• Are you licensed and insured to work in Los Angeles?
• Do you have experience with room additions? Can I see references?
• How much of the work is done by you and how much is done by other vendors?
• Are you a turnkey, design-build contractor?
• How long will a project like this take?
• Can you offer me other design ideas? How will you handle…? (An experienced contractor will have good suggestions and may show you examples or solutions you didn’t think of.)
